ORDER OF WORSHIP - Sixth Sunday of Easter, May 21, 2017

No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
Welcome to our guests!  Welcome to those who have no church home, need strength, have doubt, or want to know Christ better.
Welcome to those who have worshiped in this place for generations!  Welcome to people of all racial & ethnic heritages, of all gender orientations, and to families of every shape and size.
We welcome you home!

OPENING WORDS (I Peter 3:13-22)
Who will harm you if you are eager to do good?  Even if you do suffer for what is right, you are blessed.  Do not feat what they fear and do not be intimidated.  Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands an accounting for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and reverence.

Bless our God, O peoples!
Let the sound of his praise be heard.
God has kept us among the living, and has not let our feet slip.
Come and hear all you who fear God, and we will tell what the Lord has done for us.
We cried aloud to the Lord.
And God truly listened; he has given heed to the words of our prayers..
Blessed by God.
Come, let us worship together.
