OPENING WORDS (Deuteronomy 11:18-21)
"Put my words in your heart and soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and fix them as an emblem on your forehead. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you lie down and when you rise. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, so that your days and the day of your children will be multiplies in the land."
CALL TO WORSHIP (Psalm 31:1-5,19-25)
Blessed be the Lord, for he has wondrously shown his steadfast love to us.
In you, O Lord, we seek refuge. In your righteousness, deliver us.
O how abundant is your goodness, O Lord, for those who take refuge in you.
You are indeed our rock and fortress; for your name's sake, you lead and guide us.
Love the Lord, all you saints. The Lord preserves the faithful.
Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord.
Let us worship God.
