CALL TO WORSHIP (Psalm 40)
Happy are those who make the Lord their trust, who do not turn to the proud, or go astray after false gods.
O Lord, you have multiplied your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us. Were we to proclaim them they would be more than can be counted.
We have a new song in our mouths, a song of praise to our God.
We say, "Here we are" and delight to do your will, O God.
We tell of the glad news, and do not conceal your steadfast love and faithfulness.
Do not, O Lord, withhold your mercy from us; let your steadfast love and faithfulness keep us safe forever.
Let us sing a new song of praise to our God.
