Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women invites and encourages all women of Watauga Avenue Presbyterian church to enjoy mission projects, fun and fellowship by joining PW. From September through May, the women of our church meet monthly.

The group meets on the first Thursday of the month from September through May.  When there is a 5th Tuesday in a month,  PW members get together to work on mission projects such as gathering personal hygiene items for the Downtown Clinic, IHN, and Safe Passage. Presbyterian Women help deliver Meals on Wheels and Nutrition for the Elderly. PW also provides the meal for our yearly Father’s Day Church in the Park.

The group has begun this year’s Bible study of “Sacred Encounters: The Power and Presence of Jesus Christ in Luke-Acts,” by Olive Mahabir.
